A web-filtering profile consists of a group of categories and their associated action types. You must group web-filtering categories into a profile and link this profile to a firewall policy. A profile can contain both user-defined and predefined categories and their corresponding action types. An action type determines the action of the security device when it receives a URL request for a category in a profile.
Note: Custom profiles affect integrated Web filtering only.
A custom profile list contains the following information:
Profile Name: The
name of the profile. This list includes the predefined profile,
ns-profile.
Configuration: Click Edit to modify the category, click Clone to copy a profile that you can use as the basis for a new profile, or click Remove to remove an entry.
Click New to create a custom profile. For more information on creating or editing a custom profile, see URL Filtering - Custom Profile Configuration.
