Access List

This page displays all access lists that have been configured for the current virtual router. An access list filters all IP prefixes to determine whether the current virtual router permits or denies these routes. The maximum number of access list entries allowed for each virtual router is 99. You can enter up to 10 prefixes per access list.

Viewing Access Lists

To view access lists for all configured virtual routers, select All virtual routers in the Access List for drop-down list. To view access lists for a specific virtual router, select that virtual router from the drop-down list. In addition, to select how many access lists per page you want to view, select 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 in the List per page drop-down list.

The Access Lists table identifies the virtual router at the top and contains the following information:

Access List ID: Identifies the access list. Click Add Seq No to add an entry to the access list. Click Remove to delete the access list.

Seq No: Indicates the order of entries in the access list. It determines how entries are evaluated for filtering of route information.

IP: The IP address and network mask of the packet evaluated for entry into the current routing instance.

Action: Indicates whether the current virtual router accepts or blocks the routes specified in the access list.  The settings can be permit to accept the packets, or deny to block the packets.

Configure: Click Remove to remove the access list entry with the specified sequence number.

Creating Access Lists

You can either create a new access list or add an entry to an existing access list. To create a new access list, select a virtual router from the drop-down list and click New. To add an entry to an access list, click Add Seq No beside the access list to which you are adding an entry. For more information, see Virtual Router Access List Configuration.

 To Remove an Access List
