Wireless SSID List

A wireless network is identified by a service set identifier (SSID). SSIDs allow you to maintain multiple WLANs using one wireless security device.

SSID List

This list displays information about the SSIDs configured on the device. It contains the following information about each SSID:

Name: SSID name.

Suppression: Indicates whether displaying SSIDs has been disabled in broadcasts.

Client Isolation:  Indicates whether the SSID client isolation option is enabled or disabled. This option prohibits wireless clients from communicating directly with each other and, thereby, bypassing the firewall.

Authentication: Authentication type assigned to the SSID.

Cipher: Encryption type assigned to the SSID.

Interface: Interface to which the SSID is bound. Some devices support more than one radio, the Radio column lists the radio to which the wireless interface is bound.

Configure: Click Edit to modify an SSID. Click Remove to delete the SSID. Click WEP Keys to configure the SSID WEP key encryption.
