VNC Service

The Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a desktop protocol used to remote control another computer.

To modify one or more of the following settings for VNC, enter a new value in the Current column for the parameter you want to adjust, and then click Apply:

Maximum Number of Login Failures per Minute: Specifies the maximum number of failed logins per minute. Valid range: 2 through 100; default; 8.

Maximum Cut Text length: Specifies the maximum cut text length. Valid range: 1 through 65536; default: 4096.

Maximum Display Name Length: Specifies the maximum length for the display name. Valid range: 1 through 1024; default: 128.

Maximum Reason String Length: Specifies the maximum string length for the reason. Valid range: 1 through 2048; default: 512.

Maximum Length of Verify Message After Initial Handshake: Enables (1) or disables (0) the feature that checks the maximum length of the verify message after the initial handshake.
