Schedule Configuration

Schedules are used to limit when a policy is in effect, and to set traffic control policies. Configurable as separate objects, schedules can be set on either a recurring or one-time basis and associated with any number of policies.

To Configure a Schedule

  1. Enter the necessary information:

Schedule Name: Enter the name of the schedule. Choose a descriptive name to help you identify the schedule. The name must be unique and is limited to 20 characters.

Comment: This field is optional.Enter any additional information you want (limit 30 characters).

  1. Select either Recurring or Once:

Recurring: Enable this if you want the schedule to repeat on a weekly basis. You must configure both a start time and an end time for each day you set a schedule. You can set up to two time periods within the same day.

Note: 24 hours constitute one day, and you must enter the time using Military Time (for example, instead of entering 5:00 P.M., you must enter 17:00).

Once: Enable this if you want the schedule to start and end one time only. You must enter both start and stop date and times. Make sure that you enter all four digits of the year and that you enter the time using Military Time (see note above).

  1. Click OK to save your changes.
