Export Rule Configuration

You can configure conditions or rules that determine which routes a virtual router exports to another router. Before you can configure an export rule, you must configure at least one route map first. Export rules use route maps to filter the exported routes.

To Create a New Export Rule

  1. Enter the necessary information:

Source Virtual Router: A read-only string that is the name of the virtual router exporting the routes.

Destination Virtual Router: Identifies the virtual router receiving the route information.

Route Map: The name of the route map applied to routes considered for exporting.

Protocol: The routing protocol of the virtual routing instance exporting the routes.  The setting can be OSPF, BGP, RIP, connected, imported, or static.

  1. Click OK to save the configuration.
