The Virtual Router (BGP) – Peer Group page enables you to create collections of peers that enables all members of the peer group to inherit the attributes configured for the group. Route Maps frequently use peer groups. The Virtual Router (BGP) – Peer page displays the following fields:
Group Name: A string that identifies the peer group you want to create.
Entries: Indicates the number of peers included in the peer group created.
Action: Contains either the Add button that enables you to create a new peer group, or the Configure or Remove buttons.
Enter a string that identifies the peer group that you want to create.
Click Add to save the string.
The group name appears in the list, with Configure and Remove options in the Action column. Click Configure to configure attributes for the peer group. See BGP Peer Group Configuration.
