The Traffic Alarm Report contains information on alarms triggered by the NetScreen device for selected policies. The Traffic Alarm Report contains two tables: the first describes the selected policy and the second displays processing information about the alarm.
Note: You can view
the Traffic Alarm Report for a policy by clicking the Traffic Alarm icon

Details column of the Policies Report or in the Options
column of the Policy List. For more information, see Policies
Report.
The policy table displays the following information:
ID: Indicates the policy number identifying the policy.
Source: Indicates the source zone and address name of the policy.
Destination: Indicates the destination zone and address name of the policy.
Service: Indicates the service associated with the policy.
Action: Indicates the action performed by the NetScreen device for packets with the associated policy.
The Traffic Alarm table displays the following information:
Date/Time: Indicates the date and time when the alarm was triggered.
Event: Indicates the type of alarm triggered.
Details: Indicates the reason the alarm was triggered.
Select the number of log messages per page you want to view from the List per page drop-down menu.
Click Clear to clear all messages from the Traffic Alarm Report.
Click Refresh to update the Traffic Alarm Report with the most recent messages.
You can save the report to your local hard drive or to a directory on your local area network for later view and analysis.
Click Save.
The File Download dialog box appears and prompts you to open the file or save it to your computer.
Click Save.
The Save As dialog box appears.
Navigate to the location where you want to save the file, and then click Save.
To view the file, you can use an ASCII text editor (such as NotePad or WordPad).
