Traffic Counting Graph

The Traffic Counting Graph shows the rate traffic for selected policies. You can view the graph to verify that the rate of traffic does not exceed the resources you have specified for a policy. The Traffic Counting Graph contains a table describing the selected policy and a graph showing the traffic counting information for that policy.

Note: You can view the Traffic Counting Graph for a policy by clicking the Traffic Counting icon "" in the View Details column of the Policies Report or in the Options column of the Policies List. For more information, see Policies Report.

The Policy Table

The policy table displays the following information:

ID: Indicates the policy number assigned to the policy.

Source: Indicates the source zone and address name of the policy.

Destination: Indicates the destination zone and address name of the policy.

Service: Indicates the service associated with the policy.

Action: Indicates the action performed by the NetScreen device for packets with the associated policy.

The Traffic Counting Graph

The Traffic Counting Graph displays the following information:

Click Refresh to update the Traffic Counting Graph with the most recent statistics.

Saving the Traffic Counting Graph to Another Location

You can save the graph to your local hard drive or to a directory on your local area network for later view and analysis.

To Save the Traffic Counting Graph

  1. Click Save.

The File Download dialog box appears and prompts you to open the file or save it to your computer.

  1. Click Save.

The Save As dialog box appears.

  1. Navigate to the location where you want to save the file, and then click Save.

To view the file, you can use an ASCII text editor (such as NotePad or WordPad).
