Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) over ATM Adaptation Layer 5 (AAL5) is a method for transporting PPP packets over AAL5. PPPoA is primarily used for business class service as it does not require a desktop client.
Note: Some devices do not support PPPoA.
This table lists the PPPoA settings configured on the device and contains the following information:
PPPoA Instance: Indicates the name of the PPPoA instance.
Interface: Indicates the interface to which the PPPoA instance is bound.
User: Indicates the user name configured for the PPPoA instance.
State: Indicates the status of the PPPoA session: Disabled (currently inactive) or Enabled (currently in progress).

Configure: Click Edit to modify an existing configuration. Click Remove to remove a PPPoA instance.
