DNS Proxy Configuration

To configure a proxy DNS lookup, make the following entries and then click OK.

Domain Name: The FQDN (Fully-Qualified Domain Name) contained in each DNS query.

Outgoing Interface: Specifies the interface through which the NetScreen device transmits the DNS query. (Note: You can make such queries secure by specifying a tunnel interface.)

Primary DNS Server: The IP address or domain name of the primary DNS server.

Secondary DNS Server: The IP address or domain name of the secondary DNS server.

Tertiary DNS Server: The IP address or domain name of the tertiary DNS server.

Failover:  Select this option to direct DNS to fail over to another server if the currently active server fails.
