You can configure your NetScreen device to send you messages via email whenever a system event of a certain severity level occurs. To be able to receive messages via email from your NetScreen device, you must enable the E-mail Notification feature (see "To Enable E-Mail Notification" below), and you must define which severity level qualifies for email notification (see Log Settings).
Select Enable E-Mail Notification for Alarms,and then enter the necessary information:
Include Traffic Log: Select this option to send all traffic log messages via email.
SMTP Server Name: Enter the name of the SMTP mail server.
E-Mail Address 1: Enter the email address of the first user to be notified.
E-Mail Address 2: Enter the email address of the second user to be notified.
Click Apply to save your settings.
