Webmail Configuration

Edit the following options to define new or edit existing Webmail patterns:

URL Pattern Name: Enter a name to identify the Webmail type.

A pattern must match from the start of a string in the field for which you define it. For example, the host definition "mail.yahoo.com" would not match the host string "ms.Y506.mail.yahoo.com" because the host definition does not include "ms.Y506." In this case, the host definition only matches a URL that begins "mail.yahoo.com".

Note: It is not necessary to enter all of the following fields. If only one or two fields are defined, the AV scanner looks for a URL matching only the defined fields.

Path: Enter the URL path for the Webmail type. A path string must start with a slash (/ym/showletter).

Host: Enter the host name included in the URL.

Arguments: An arguments string must include a question mark (?). For example, "msgid=" is not a valid argument definition, but "?msgid=" is valid.

Exclude: Select this checkbox to exclude traffic matching any of the strings specified. For example, select Exclude to examine for virus patterns in all paths except those containing the matching prefix string (/acme/marketing).
