ICAP Server List

Note: Juniper Networks supports external antivirus (AV) on select devices. Your security device communicates with the external AV scan engine using Internet Content Adaptation Protocol (ICAP).

The following information about the ICAP server object is displayed:

Name: The name of the external antivirus scanner (ICAP server).

Scan Server (Port): The IP address and port number at which the security device connects to the ICAP server. The default port number is 1344.

State: The status of the ICAP server (enabled or disabled).

Probe URL: The URL string used to probe the ICAP server.

Status: The status of an ICAP server is up (in-service) or down (out-of-service).

Configure: Click Edit to edit the ICAP server object. Click Remove to delete the ICAP server object.

Note: You can remove an ICAP server object whose status is either in-service or out-of-service. However, you cannot remove the object if a policy references it.

Click New to create a new ICAP Server object.
