Edit the following options to create a new or modify an existing ICAP server (external AV scanner) object:
ICAP AV Server Name: Enter a name for the ICAP server object. The maximum string length for the server object is 31 characters.
Enable: Select the checkbox to enable the ICAP server.
Scan Server Name/IP: Enter the IP address or host name of the ICAP server. The maximum string length for the scan server name is 255 characters.
Scan Server Port: Enter the port number at which the security device connects to the ICAP server. The default server port is 1344.
Probe URL: Enter the URL string to probe the ICAP server. The maximum string length for the ICAP AV probe URL string is 255 characters.
Probe Interval: Enter the ICAP server probe interval in seconds. The range of the interval is 10 to 3000 seconds. The default (0) indicates that the ICAP server is not probed. At the set interval, the device sends out a Layer 7 protocol request to verify the health of the ICAP server.
Max Connections: Enter the maximum number of concurrent connections to the ICAP server. Default values are platform-dependent, but the upper limit is 512.
